A relative of a friend had read the raving reviews about Rossi's and wanted to try it. We were in the area so stopped in. Everything looked delicious. I got a piece of italian rum cake, a fig square and a piece of cheesecake with strawberry topping. I wish i had tried them before we left the shop and not gotten them to go. The rum cake was so dry that i had to use a knife to cut a bite. Filling was dry also. Entire piece was flavorless. Cheesecake itself was just of but strawberry topping was dry and jell like. Fig square didn't have any fig flavor. One friend threw away her lobster claw and wasn't impressed with her other purchases. Needless to say, i would never recommend Rossi's. If anyone comes to the south shore in Massachusetts go to Montillio's. They are REAL italian bakery masters.
Excellent Italian pastries and pizza very friendly staff
The food and staff at Rossi's are first rate!!! It is wonderful that they are open year round. The blueberry and lemon meringue pies are full of tasty filling and on a first rate crust. I grew up loving Sicilian pizza, and they make a fantastic slice with fresh ingredients. The turnovers are a perfect size dessert and filled with the same great fruit as their pies. Rossi's is a real gem!!!

We stopped here on Sunday before returning home to Maine. We spent $34 and everything was amazing!!
