Awesome little hole in the wall restaurant. Best breakfast I've ever had. I come every weekend and try a different item every time. Haven't been disappointed yet. The staff is so welcoming and friendly!
Excellent breakfast here. Had the spinach, bacon, carmelized onion and goat cheese omelette which was great. Normally I skip the potatoes served with breakfast, but these were too good to ignore. Homemade muffins were also very good, but you might want to stick with toast because the homemade strawberry jam is out of this world. Staff is super accommodating and the coffee was delicious as well. Will definitely frequent Rick's again.
Very good food in the heart of York Maine. Muffin specials change daily and never disappoint. Both regular and decaf coffees are excellent. For a Maine seafaring delight try the Haddie or Lobbie. Homemade hash is a nice treat for the table. One of the few restaurants with a good Monte Cristo. Pick up the York Weekly, listen to the local banter, eat good food slowly, and enjoy life at Rick's.
I had the Country Benedict. I normally have to add salt and pepper to potatoes at breakfast, but theirs were seasoned perfectly. My wife had the Stuffed Brioche French Toast with strawberries. We split a side order of corned beef hash. Everything down to the coffee was great. And my coffee cup was never empty! The staff was very friendly as well. Great place.
It is a surprising gem. Not much from the outside, but excellent breakfast. Homemade muffins. Homemade jam. Homemade corned beef hash. Huge delicious portions. Very friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Highly recommend.
