A wonderful place to visit. Animals are well kept and the staff is very nice and competent. I have taken my granddaughter to the zoo for several years. I was most disappointed this year, when she took the camel ride. In the past, the attendant would pause for a minute for a good photo opportunity. This year there was a sign saying no pausing. Very disappointed that I do not have a good shot this year, as in the past. I would have given the zoo 5 stars, but only 4 due to this change.
We went with a 3.5 year old. This made me wish that the amusement park part of it was on the other side of the zoo. Like that you have to walk through the zoo (short or long route available would be nice too) to get to the rides. My son was so distracted by the fair like grounds that we practically had to drag him to see the animals! He enjoyed the ducks the most I think, they ate right out of his hand :) the other animals he had trouble seeing and the pens were so large that if ( and mostly) the animals were laying down it was really hard to see them (not that a large pen is a bad thing!). Will wait to go back until he is bit older I think. They do offer both just zoo or park tickets as well as combo tickets. Large parking area and a shortish walk to the park/zoo.
The amusement park area was great. Staff was really nice allowing the kids to ride more then once. Rides were great and not long lines. I would recommend this place for anyone who has kids that are from 2 to 6. Combo tickets are such a bargain.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We will totally be coming back. Greatly geared towards toddlers!! My 2 year old loved it. Between the animals and feeding the goats it was really nice. We spent an hour feeding the deers, it was great. All the animals are well kept and it was worth the price!!
Wasn't what I expected it to be. False advertisement. Rides old ,dirty and rusty. Over price, not worth the damn money. Better of spending the day at beach with the kids
The amusement park area needs updates, bad. It's exactly the same as it was when I was a kid in the 90s. The animals look like they need more space. It's crowded. I won't be going again.
