Quaint and friendly
quiet, convenient to shops and good restaurants. The view of the bay is spectacular. The wrap around porch is a great spot to sip your morning coffee or to watch a sunset. We rarely have a need to use our car. You can walk to a lighthouse, Brown's ice-cream, shops and the beach. There is very little traffic. The lodge is basic and breakfast is always delicious. You do have to share bathrooms but it's never been a problem. Nancy, the hostess is very accommodating. Don't book my room the week I want it!
